Since 2016, Dumont Welding & Fabrication has provided reliable, high-quality welding services to clients across Nanaimo and beyond. Founder Cole began his career as a welder in 2016, specializing in heavy-duty equipment repair and custom fabrication, before officially launching Dumont Welding & Fabrication in 2022.
In 2024, the business expanded with the opening of a shop on Schoolhouse Road, complementing a fully equipped mobile welding rig. This flexibility allows Dumont to handle everything from urgent field repairs to complex shop projects. Whether it’s keeping your equipment running or bringing new ideas to life, Dumont Welding & Fabrication is here to deliver strong, lasting results.

Dumont Welding & Fabrication Ltd. is certified by the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) for Fusion Welding of Steel in accordance with CSA Standard W47.1.
This certification confirms that our welding procedures, welding supervisors, and welders meet Canadian standards for structural steel fabrication and industrial welding work.
Our certification includes structural steel fabrication, industrial welding, and heavy equipment repair.
